Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern your Summer Membership at Pitt St Skatepark (“the Skatepark”). By purchasing a Summer Membership, you agree to be bound by all terms set out below, as well as the Skatepark Waiver and park rules. Please read these terms carefully before signing up.

2. Summer Membership – Overview

Summer Memberships provide unlimited access to the Skatepark for the duration of your membership during published opening times and applicable sessions.

Membership Price

We are offering summer memberships at a discounted rate;

Adults (age 17 and over) – £40 per month

Kids (age 16 and under) – £30 per month

Membership Duration

  • Full summer membership (Sign up in June): June, July, and August (3 months)
  • Mid-summer signup (Sign up in July): July and August only (2 months)
  • Late signup (Sign up in August): August only (1 month)

Membership Start Date

Your membership will start from the date of your first payment and will be taken on the same date every month thereafter. The expiry date of your membership will be clearly printed on your membership card.

Membership Cut-Off

The cut-off date for summer memberships is Friday, 14th August. Memberships purchased after this date will be charged at a standard rate (which will be at a revised price – to be confirmed.)

3. Payment Terms

Payment Method

All membership payments will be taken automatically via PayPal or Debit/Credit Card. By signing up, you authorize the Skatepark to process monthly payments on your behalf.

Automatic Monthly Billing

Once you have completed your initial payment, your membership fee will be charged automatically each month on the anniversary of your initial payment date. 

4. Membership Card & Entry

Card Requirements

  • Your membership card is strictly personal and non-transferable
  • The card may only be used by the individual for whom it was purchased
  • Your name and photograph will appear on your membership card

Entry Requirements

  • You must present a valid membership card to a member of staff upon request
  • Your membership card must be presented before entering the Skatepark
  • Failure to present a valid membership card may result in refusal of entry

Card Misuse

  • Tampering with, altering, copying, or misusing your membership card is strictly prohibited
  • Sharing your membership with others or allowing another person to use your card is not permitted
  • Any tampering, alteration, or unauthorized use will result in immediate revocation of your membership without refund

End of Session Requirements

You must vacate the park at the end of each session. You will need to rescan your membership card at the start of your next session.

5. Session Access & Entry Restrictions

Your Summer Membership provides unlimited access to the following sessions only:

  • Mixed Sessions – Any age and abilities welcome
  • Family Sessions – Session for all ages. Adults must be accompanying a child to skate
  • Roller Tots – 5 year olds and under skate only
  • Home Ed Sessions – Session for Home Educated families only. Adults can skate with a child
  • Friday Roller Discos – Any age and ability
  • Early Bird Sessions – Early morning Sunday session, all ages and abilities welcome
  • SEN Session – A session for Special Educational Needs. All ages and abilities welcome
  • Girls Night – A session for female skaters only. All ages and abilities welcome.

Special Events & Academy of Wheels Sessions

For special events, Academy of Wheels Sessions and coaching; including Jams, Competitions, and Kids Wheeled Discos, full price entry applies. Your Summer Membership does not provide free access or discount to these events.

6. Code of Conduct & Rules

All members must comply with the rules, policies, and terms set out in the Skatepark Waiver at all times. The Skatepark is committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all users.

7. Revocation & Termination of Membership

The Skatepark reserves the right to revoke or suspend a membership if a member:

  • Breaches any terms of these Terms & Conditions
  • Violates the Skatepark Waiver or park rules
  • Behaves in an unsafe, abusive, disruptive, or inappropriate manner
  • Engages in harassment, discrimination, or antisocial behaviour

No refunds will be issued for memberships revoked due to breaches of these Terms & Conditions, the Skatepark Waiver, or park rules.

8. Refunds & Non-Transferability

  • Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where required by law
  • Once purchased, you cannot transfer your membership to another person
  • Refunds will not be issued for unused portions of your membership

9. Autumn Membership & Renewal

After your Summer Membership expires at the end of August, the Skatepark will look to continue memberships into the autumn. Further details will be communicated to you before the end of your current membership.

10. Changes to Opening Times & Terms

  • Opening times may be subject to change without notice due to events, maintenance, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control
  • The Skatepark reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time

11. Data Protection & Privacy

By signing up for a Summer Membership, you agree to the following:

  • You consent to receive marketing emails from the Skatepark
  • Your personal information will not be shared with external parties
  • Your data will be processed in accordance with GDPR and UK data protection legislation

12. General

These Terms & Conditions, together with the Skatepark Waiver and park rules, constitute the entire agreement between you and Pitt St. Skatepark regarding your Summer Membership. If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid.
